Fairbanks Family Dental Centre is a single dentist owner operated clinic with a dedication to providing comprehensive, high-quality oral care to patients of all ages. Our close-knit team takes pride in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door. We are looking for a motivated and skilled RDA II to join our team on a part-time basis and contribute to the exceptional care we deliver every day.

Schedule
Hours: 6:45 am – 3:00 pm (1 hour lunch)
Regular days: Every Thursday
Additional days: One Friday per month
Employment type: Part-time
Responsibilities
· Work closely with our hygiene team to keep schedule flowing smoothly. This position is primarily a hygiene assistant role with occasional chairside work with the dentist.

Take digital radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with infection control and safety protocols
Perform expanded duties as permitted under the RDA II scope of practice, including coronal polishing, placing and removing rubber dams, and taking impressions
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and disinfection of instruments and equipment
Record accurate and timely clinical notes in the practice management software (Gold Dental Management)
Collaborate with the front desk and dental team to support smooth patient flow and appointment scheduling
Requirements & Qualifications
Valid RDA II registration with the Alberta Dental Association and College (ADAC) — in good standing
New graduates welcome
Current certification in CPR/First Aid (Basic Life Support)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Reliability — this role requires consistent availability on scheduled days
