Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Assess patient oral health status by reviewing medical history
Take a vital signs (blood pressure) dental imaging, and other diagnostic data to inform treatment plans
Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Eaglesoft
Follow infection control protocols and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and safety
Skills
Proficiency in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control procedures
Experience with EMR systems
Knowledge of dental records management, vital signs, and dental imaging
Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate patient care delivery
Familiarity with dental office operations, including documentation review, HIPAA and OSHA compliance
