Part-time Registered Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing .

Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and evaluating oral health status.

Take and digital dental radiographs (Dexis), ensuring proper technique and patient safety.

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation within electronic health record (EHR) system Dentrix.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term health habits.

Adhere strictly to infection prevention protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and ensure safety.

Qualifications
Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations.

Proven experience in dental office settings, with familiarity in general dentistry.

Proficiency with dental software Dentrix for charting and documentation management.

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and dental equipment operation.

Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients of all ages about their oral health needs.

Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient information at all times.

Pay: $70.00 - $100.00 per hour
