Job Description
We are a busy general dentistry practice in Redwood City seeking an experienced, patient-focused Endodontist and a Pedodontist to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist who wants a steady in-office referral flow, a flexible schedule, and the ability to provide high-quality endodontic care without the administrative burden of running a separate practice location.
The ideal candidate is clinically confident, efficient, communicative, and comfortable working collaboratively with a general dentistry team. We are looking for someone who can provide excellent patient care, clearly communicate diagnoses and treatment options, and help us keep more endodontic treatment in-house for our existing patient base.
Endodontist Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat endodontic conditions, including pulpal and periapical disease
Perform root canal therapy, retreatments, emergency endodontic care, and related procedures within your clinical scope
Evaluate patients referred internally by the general dentists
Review radiographs and clinical findings to develop appropriate treatment plans
Communicate treatment recommendations clearly to patients and the referring dentist
Pedodontist Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs, within your clinical scope
Perform pediatric dental exams, diagnosis, treatment planning, preventive care, restorative care, extractions, and space maintenance as appropriate
Evaluate pediatric patients referred internally by the general dentists
Educate parents and caregivers on oral hygiene, diet, prevention, and treatment options
Create a calm, positive, and reassuring experience for children and families
We expect all our doctors to
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
Follow infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and California Dental Board requirements
Work professionally with dental assistants, front office staff, and the general dentistry team
Help create a calm, reassuring experience for patients who may be anxious about root canal treatment
Compensation: Daily guaranteed base pay + commission
Pay: $900.00 - $1,000.00 per day
