We have also recently undergone an expansion that includes a brand-new second floor, renovation of the first floor, and the addition of a third linear accelerator and a second CT scanner.
Responsibilities for this position include greeting all visitors and vendors, answering phone calls in a professional manner, scheduling appointments, checking in patients, contacting patients about upcoming appointments, collecting pertinent information from referring physicians and hospitals, registering patients, maintaining waiting room and patient snack area, and other duties as needed.
Education: Minimum of high school diploma preferred.
Requirements: Word and Excel knowledge required. Computer skills and typing skills required. Proficiency with grammar and spelling required. Experience as a receptionist or secretary preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA guidelines preferred. Ability to communicate in a professional, informative, and courteous manner required. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment required.
Benefits: We offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package that includes an inclusive, low-deductible, low out-of-pocket maximum Health Insurance plan. Other benefits include Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off and Extended Sick Leave, Company-Provided Life and Long-Term Disability Insurance, Flexible Spending Account, Legal and Identity Protection, Supplemental Insurance, Employee Wellness Benefits, Excellent Hours (8am to 5pm – no night or weekend coverage, but occasional overtime may be necessary), Employee Assistance Program, and a 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan with a 5% company match and no vesting schedule.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
