Duties
Greet patients upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal time management.
Maintain accurate patient records, including updating medical history and insurance information.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans, treatment options, and follow-up appointments.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and address any concerns or inquiries.
Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements
Previous experience in a medical office or dental office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients and staff members.
Proficient in using office equipment and software relevant to medical administrative support.
