Patient Care Coordinator — Help Patients Feel Confident, Supported, and Cared For

At Dr. David Shier Dentistry in Mississauga, we're looking for a compassionate and experienced Patient Care Coordinator who loves building relationships, guiding patients through their treatment journey, and creating an outstanding patient experience. Full-Time
Monday: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Flexible)
Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM

What You'll Do
Welcome patients and build trusting relationships from their first visit
Clearly and compassionately explain treatment plans and next steps
Review treatment costs, insurance coverage, and financial options
Coordinate appointments to ensure patients receive timely care
Verify insurance benefits and assist with claims processing
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment information
Follow up with patients, answer questions, and provide ongoing support
Act as the bridge between patients and the clinical team
Ensure every patient feels heard, informed, and cared for throughout their journey
Who We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years of dental administration experience required
Experience discussing treatment plans and financial arrangements
Knowledge of dental billing, insurance, and scheduling procedures
Abeldent experience is considered a strong asset
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and highly dependable
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Compassionate, professional, and committed to providing outstanding service
