Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Patient care coordinator / Receptionist to become the primary front office team member in our growing dental practice. This is a key role for someone who enjoys both patient care and practice growth. You will be responsible for creating an exceptional patient experience from the first phone call through treatment acceptance and completion. The ideal candidate is confident presenting treatment, discussing financial arrangements, scheduling efficiently, managing patient follow-up, and building strong relationships with patients. What Makes This Position Unique-Unlike larger practices where duties are divided among multiple team members, this role gives you the opportunity to take ownership of the entire patient journey. You will be the face of the practice and play a direct role in patient satisfaction, treatment acceptance, collections, and office growth.

Has dental front office experience
Is confident presenting treatment plans and discussing finances
Enjoys building relationships with patients
Can multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
Takes initiative and works independently
Wants to contribute to the growth and success of the practice
Compensation:
Starting at $25/hr (DOE)

Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly, and bubbly manner; create a warm, welcoming atmosphere
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently
Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries promptly and courteously
Present treatment plans, follow up with patients regarding recommended treatment, and support strong case acceptance
Manage patient accounts, follow up on outstanding balances, and handle collections in a professional manner
Verify insurance information and process payments accurately
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Assist with administrative and front office tasks to support the dental team
Requirements
Proficiency in dental software such as Open Dental/Practice Web is preferred
Knowledge of dental terminology and common dental procedures
Strong customer service skills with a welcoming, professional demeanor
Familiarity with front desk operations and multi-line phone systems
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build rapport with patients
Excellent communication and confidence in discussing treatment options and financial arrangements
