Patient Care Coordinator

Do you enjoy working with children? If the answer is yes, then we want you! Mercer Island Pediatrics is looking for a full time Receptionist to work at our beautiful practice on Mercer Island! We are located right off I-90 and offer free parking, competitive salary, and benefits, as well as fantastic co-workers and physicians. Experience in a medical office is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.

The receptionists are the first people our patients see when they walk into the front door of our clinic, so we are seeking a candidate with exceptional customer service skills. The receptionist should be flexible and open to assisting with a variety of tasks, such as answering phones, handling deliveries and greeting visitors. The ideal candidate will have proficient computer knowledge and excellent communication skills, as well as an outgoing personality.

Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients using electronic medical record.

Answer phones, schedule appointments, transfer calls
Verify insurance, collect co-pays and past due collections
Work closely with Medical Assistants and physicians to ensure proper workflows
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
