Job Description
Here’s What You Need to Know About Healthcare
In conventional medicine, the average patient visit lasts 7 minutes. Seven. That’s barely enough time to listen, let alone understand what’s actually happening.
We do things differently.
About Dr. Angela & This Practice
Dr. Angela knows what it’s like when the healthcare system fails someone you love — when doctors don’t have time to truly listen and real harm happens because of it. That’s why she’s spent 25 years building a practice where patients aren’t rushed, aren’t dismissed, and actually get the care and answers they came for.
Every patient gets 30–60 minutes — not 7
We focus on root causes, not just symptom management
Patients aren’t rushed through like a factory line
We actually listen
What This Role Actually Is
You’ll be Dr. Angela’s right hand in an intimate practice setting. You’re the first face patients see, the voice they hear on the phone, and the person who helps create an environment where healing actually happens. You’ll be joining a small, close-knit team that takes the work seriously and takes care of each other.
This isn’t for someone who wants to:
Hide behind a computer and avoid people
Clock in and clock out without actually caring
Work in a chaotic, high-volume clinic where patients are treated like numbers
This IS for someone who wants to:
Be an essential part of a small, mission-driven practice
Work closely with an experienced physician who genuinely cares
Have consistent hours with actual work-life balance
Do work that matters
Schedule
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: In-office, 10am–6pm
Wednesday & Friday: Remote, 1–2 hours (message management & patient follow-up)
What You’ll Actually Do
Patient-Facing:
Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk
Schedule appointments and manage Dr. Angela’s calendar
Answer phones, respond to inquiries, return messages promptly
Handle check-in/check-out, collect payments, process transactions
Behind the Scenes:
Maintain organized, HIPAA-compliant patient records
Coordinate closely with Dr. Angela on patient needs and workflow
Order office and medical supplies
Help maintain a clean, calm, welcoming environment
The Person We’re Looking For
You Have:
✓ Previous front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience (medical office is a plus, not required)
✓ Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor
✓ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
✓ The ability to multitask calmly and efficiently
✓ Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
✓ Comfort with technology and learning new systems
✓ Availability for the consistent schedule above
Even Better If You Have:
Experience in a medical, dental, chiropractic, or alternative medicine office
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical scheduling software
Personal interest in naturopathic, holistic, or integrative medicine
What Really Matters
Skills can be taught. What we can’t teach is the genuine desire to show up fully, care about the people walking through the door, and bring calm and consistency to the work every single day.
If you’re the type of person who:
Has genuine compassion for people’s struggles
Gets energized by helping create order and calm
Wants to work somewhere that aligns with your values around natural health
Is self-motivated and can be trusted to run things independently
Brings a positive attitude and loves to learn
What You Get
Competitive pay: $22–$27/hour based on experience
Work-life balance: Consistent schedule with no weekends
Health benefits: Discounted supplements and complimentary health consultations with Dr. Angela
Professional growth: Learn directly from a naturopathic physician with 25 years of experience
Meaningful work: You’re not just a number — you’re an essential part of a team doing real work that matters
HOW TO APPLY (PLEASE FOLLOW ALL STEPS BELOW TO BE CONSIDERED)
Submit your resume
Include a brief cover letter (3–4 sentences) explaining why you’re drawn to naturopathic/integrative medicine
