At Fairbanks Family Dental Care, we believe dentistry is about more than teeth — it’s about helping people feel cared for, valued, confident, and healthy.
We are a fast-growing, high-performing dental practice looking for someone who thrives in a people-centered, fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoys building relationships.
This is not a typical “front desk receptionist” position. Our Patient Care Coordinator plays a major role in the patient experience, schedule flow, communication, and helping patients move forward with their care confidently.
If you are organized, compassionate, emotionally intelligent, and motivated by teamwork and growth, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
Patient Experience
Create a warm, welcoming, 5-star experience for every patient
Build genuine relationships through empathy, positivity, and communication
Respond to calls, texts, emails, and patient questions promptly and professionally
Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit
Schedule & Office Flow
Maintain a productive hygiene and doctor schedule
Fill openings proactively through patient reactivation and communication
Coordinate smoothly with assistants, hygienists, and doctors to keep the day running efficiently
Help ensure patients are seated on time and appointments stay on track
Treatment & Financial Communication
Help patients understand recommended treatment and next steps
Verify insurance benefits and prepare accurate treatment estimates
Build trust and confidence through clear, honest communication
What We’re Looking For
We care far more about attitude, professionalism, communication, and work ethic than previous dental experience alone.
Ideal qualities:
Compassionate and emotionally intelligent
Strong communicator and active listener
Organized and detail-oriented
Positive under pressure
Team-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
Accountable and growth-minded
