Job Title: Dental Front Desk Coordinator / Dental Receptionist
Position Summary
The Dental Front Desk Coordinator serves as the first and last point of contact for patients and plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, organized, and professional front-office experience. This position focuses on patient communication, scheduling, and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations and support overall practice success.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Experience & Communication
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out
Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and maintain a friendly, professional tone
Communicate appointment details, office policies, and general visit flow
Support a positive and calm environment for patients throughout their visit
Scheduling & Office Flow
Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and follow up on patient appointments
Maintain an organized and optimized schedule to support provider productivity
Coordinate recall, follow-ups, and unscheduled treatment appointments
Assist with daily office flow and communication between front and clinical teams
Administrative & Records Support
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the practice management system
Ensure patient forms and information are completed and up to date
Support general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, scanning, and correspondence
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and reception area
Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm
$18 - $23 an hour
Requirements:
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfort with computers, scheduling software, and basic office technology
Professional appearance and demeanor
