Patient Care Coordinator/Receptionist

We are seeking an organized, detailed-orientated and friendly Patient Coordinator to oversee the front-office operations and manage the patient’s journey from intake to check out. The ideal candidate thrives in a team-orientated setting, excels in multi-tasking and possesses a strong knowledge of dental insurance, patient scheduling and Dentrix.

Patient hours
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8 am - 5 pm
Thursday: 8 am - 3 pm
Key Responsibilities
Patient Experience: Welcome patients upon arrival; manage check-in/check-out, and maintain a professional and inviting reception area.

Scheduling and Flow: Utilize Dentrix to optimize provider schedules, manage hygiene recall and schedule recommended treatment.

Financial and Insurance Coordination: Present treatment plans and financial options, verify insurance benefits, submit claims and collect patient co-pays and payments.

Team Collaborations: Work alongside our clinical team to ensure seamless patient transitions and efficient office workflow.

Qualifications
Dental Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the dental office.

Professional Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication, high accuracy in record-keeping and strict adherence to HIPAA standards.
