Position Overview: Patient Care Coordinator
As the first point of contact for our patients, the Patient Care Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Frontline Communication:
Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism. Schedule appointments, respond to inquiries, and coordinate follow-up communications.
Patient Experience:
Build strong rapport with patients, addressing their hearing health needs and guiding them through treatment options and clinic services.
Objection Handling & Patient Advocacy:
Confidently address patient concerns, articulating the value of our care. Assist patients in understanding the benefits of choosing our out-of-network, high-quality service.
New Patient Acquisition:
Respond to prospective patient inquiries and guide them through the onboarding process. Highlight our clinic’s personalized approach and exceptional care to convert leads into appointments.
Administrative Excellence:
Oversee scheduling, inventory tracking, payment processing, and record management to support daily operations and maintain high service standards.
Problem Solving:
Quickly assess and resolve scheduling conflicts, patient issues, and other challenges with poise and efficiency to ensure smooth clinic workflow.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (required); additional education is a plus.
5–7 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting.
2–3 years of prior experience in a medical or dental office is strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
