Job Description
We are a busy dental clinic in the Anchorage area seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Patient Coordinatorto join our team.
At Urgent Dental Relief, we provide same-day and emergency dental care. Our Patient Coordinator is often the first point of contact for patients and plays an important role in helping patients get the care they need quickly.
$2000 Sign-On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates
Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and assist patients with urgent dental concerns.
Schedule and coordinate appointments.
Greet and check patients in and out.
Gather patient information and accurately document calls.
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility.
Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims.
Assist with claim issues, denials, and insurance-related questions.
Communicate patient concerns and scheduling needs with dentists and clinic staff.
Collect payments and discuss estimated patient responsibility when needed.
Follow up with patients when necessary.
Help maintain an organized schedule and smooth patient flow.
Assist with general front-office duties.
Requirements
Previous dental front-office or patient coordination experience preferred.
Experience with dental insurance verification, claims, and billing processes strongly preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and common insurance procedures.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to stay calm and professional with patients who may be in pain or anxious.
Strong organization and multitasking skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.
Position: Full-Time / Part-Time
This position is best suited for someone who enjoys helping people, communicating with patients, and working in a fast-moving environment where every day is different.
