Job Description
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process.
Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility and benefits verification.
Schedule patient appointments efficiently; coordinate follow-up visits and procedures.
Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries and routing calls appropriately.
Uphold HIPAA compliance by safeguarding patient information during all interactions and documentation review.
Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers regarding care plans, test results, or follow-up instructions.
Requirements
Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with front desk or administrative support responsibilities.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and accurate data entry.
Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
Experience with dental terminology or dental office management is advantageous but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent required;
Pay: $18.00 per hour
