Position Overview: As a Pediatric Dental Patient Care Coordinator at “APDO”, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our patients. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and their families, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Your professionalism, exceptional customer service skills, and attention to detail will be vital in upholding our reputation for high-end orthodontic care.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Engagement: Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient needs and concerns promptly, making them feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit.

Appointment Scheduling: Manage the appointment calendar by scheduling follow-up appointments, adapting to unique needs or requests of patients or parents.

Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members in person, over the phone, and through email and text to address inquiries, concerns, and scheduling needs.

Patient Education: Provide basic information about dental treatments and procedures, as well as triaging dental emergencies via phone.

Dental Treatment Presentation: Clearly present and explain proposed dental treatments and procedures to patients and/or parents, addressing questions and concerns to ensure understanding and comfort with the treatment plan.

Financials: Handle financial transactions and assist with payment plans as needed.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve patient concerns or issues in a professional and empathetic manner.

Requirements:

No Dental Experience? No problem!

We provide on-the-job training for all the skills needed! (i.e., terminology, triaging emergencies, presenting treatment, etc.)

Previous experience in a medical or dental coordinator role preferred but not required

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in using or learning office software and scheduling systems.

Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
