Job Posting: Patient Experience Assistant
Position: Part-Time or Full-Time
Company: Arrowhead Orthodontics
Location: Twin Ports (Duluth, Superior, Cloquet)
Overview: Arrowhead Orthodontics is seeking a positive, upbeat and social individual with an outgoing personality to join our team as a Patient Experience Assistant. Whether you have prior orthodontic experience or are eager to learn, we are willing to train or expand your current skills. A dental license is not a requirement.
Job Summary: The Patient Experience Assistant will primarily work with new and pre-treatment patients. This role is essential in creating a happy, welcoming, and positive environment for our patients. Responsibilities include efficiently taking and processing patient records to the practice’s standard of quality and accuracy, partnering with the Treatment Coordinator as the new patient liaison, welcoming new patients, gathering high-quality diagnostic records, building rapport, and understanding their treatment preferences. Additionally, the Patient Experience Assistant will assist the clinical team with diagnostic records and sterilization when available.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome new and pre-treatment patients with a positive, upbeat, friendly demeanor.
Take photos and intraoral scans for all new patients.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
Seat patients and sanitize chairs.
Assist the orthodontist during various treatment procedures.
Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
Use practice management and imaging software.
Perform office cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Assist with treatment coordinating for recall patients.
Aid clinical assistants with patient care and making retainers.
Qualifications:
Highly social with a positive, energetic attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
People-oriented and outgoing personality.
Desire to grow within the practice.
Comfortable interacting with both pediatric and adult patients.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
Experience:
Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
