Job Description
Join Our Team: Be the Face of Family Health Centers!
Are you a people person with a heart for service? Family Health Centers is looking for a Patient Registration Representative to be the welcoming face of our clinic. As the first point of contact for our patients, you won’t just be "checking people in"—you’ll be setting the tone for their entire healing journey.
Why This Role Matters
At Family Health Centers, we are a non-profit dedicated to the belief that healthcare is a right, not a privilege. We turn no one away. As a Registration Rep, you are the bridge between our community and the care they need. Whether it’s a nervous parent or a neighbor in need of routine care, your smile and efficiency make all the difference.
The Opportunity
Get Your Foot in the Door: This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for those looking to launch a career in healthcare administration or clinical services.
Mission-Driven Work: Every day, you contribute to a mission that supports the underserved and ensures everyone in our community has access to quality medical care.
Professional Growth: We value our internal team and love to see our staff grow into leadership or specialized roles.
What You’ll Do
Welcome Everyone: Provide a warm, professional greeting to all patients and visitors.
Guide the Process: Assist patients with registration forms, insurance verification, and scheduling.
Support the Mission: Help navigate our sliding-scale fee programs to ensure financial barriers don't stand in the way of health.
Keep Things Moving: Work closely with the clinical team to ensure a smooth, efficient flow for our daily appointments.
What We’re Looking For
Compassion & Empathy: A genuine desire to help people from all walks of life.
Communication Skills: The ability to explain things clearly and listen with patience.
Detail-Oriented: Accuracy is key when it comes to patient records.
Bilingual Skills: English/Spanish (Help us reach even more members of our community).
