Patient Relations Coordinator

We are looking to hire a receptionist to add to our Elite Team. The candidate must be personable and professional and is interested in making a career with our practice. Our receptionist is responsible for answering phones, greeting patients, and scheduling patients. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong customer service skills, be able to work under pressure, and have some experience working in dental offices. Dental experience is not required but preferred.

Responsibilities:
Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.

Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.

Answering phone calls.

Assisting patients to fill out information forms.

Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.

Confirming appointments with patients via phone or email
Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.

Perform basic accounting tasks such as taking patient payments and preparing billing statements
Communicating with dental insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments.

Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.

Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing.

Insurance Verification for all patients who carry an insurance policy and putting into the computer

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
