We're seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Medical Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing team.
As the first person our patients interact with, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while helping keep our infusion center running smoothly. We're looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of their work, and genuinely enjoys helping patients while supporting their teammates.

Work alongside experienced physicians, nurses, and infusion specialists dedicated to outstanding patient care
What You'll Do
Welcome patients with professionalism, warmth, and compassion
Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently
Schedule infusion appointments while coordinating provider schedules, infusion chair availability, and treatment timing
Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Verify insurance eligibility, referrals, and prior authorizations
Coordinate with providers, specialty pharmacies, and outside offices regarding infusion scheduling
Collect copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and outstanding balances
Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information
Scan and upload documentation into the electronic medical record (EMR)
Communicate appointment instructions and scheduling updates to patients
Support efficient patient flow throughout the day
Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Keep the reception area organized and welcoming
Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
Two or more years of medical office or healthcare front desk experience preferred
Experience in an infusion center, rheumatology, oncology, gastroenterology, neurology, specialty practice, or other high-volume medical office is highly preferred
Experience verifying Medicare and commercial insurance benefits
Experience with referrals and prior authorizations preferred
Experience using EMR/EHR systems (NextGen experience is a plus)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional attention to detail and scheduling accuracy
Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and a willingness to continuously learn and improve
Professional appearance and demeanor
Reliable, dependable, and punctual
Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole preferred; additional languages such as Russian or Hebrew are a plus.
