Job Description
FT, 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; days, varies as scheduled.
Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining records of business transactions and office activities of the clinic. Answers and screen phone calls and takes messages; schedules appointments; obtains billing information; checks in patients; maintains medical charts; files medical charts. May be responsible for referrals.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High school diploma/GED with training in office skills; or formal education from 6 months to one year.
On-the-job training up to and including 90 days.
Six months medical clerk/receptionist experience desired
Requires computer knowledge and keyboard skills (40 wpm)
Medical terminology and anatomy background preferred
Cash balancing experience preferred
Bilingual Spanish/English strongly desired
Preferred: Medical terminology and anatomy education. Cash balancing experience. Bilingual Spanish/English strongly desired.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $20.87-30.19
