Pediatric Dental Assistant

Celebrate Pediatric Dental is looking for a dental assistant to join our Grandview office. Our ideal candidate is outgoing, patient, has great attention to detail, able to multitask, professional, dependable and upbeat. Staying calm and supportive when dealing with anxious or uncooperative children.

Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-7pm and Saturdays 8am-1pm.

Job Types: Full-time,
Job duties include but are not limited to:

-WORKING WITH CHILDREN

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Perform dental charting and update medical records

- Assist with dental lab tasks such as pouring models and trimming impressions

- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the dental office schedule

- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
Experience:

- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred

- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

- Bilingual preferred (Spanish and English)
