Job Description
Kids Are Great Dental in Mount Kisco is hiring a Pediatric Dental Assistant!
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Enjoys working with children; good communication skills with parents.
Perform fourhanded dentistry and suction for dentist.
Cleans, stock and maintain operatory room including dental chairs, filters, and all other systems to ensure they are prepared and ready to be utilized.
Take x-rays.
Pre-wash and check instruments for sharp and waste before sterilization.
Adheres to Infection Control in utilizing the hand washing technique before/after patient contact.
Ensure all current consent forms are available for doctor’s review.
Monitor supplies and equipment and report problems to the practice manager in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School or College Diploma
1 year of experience is preferred- willing to train.
CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS, OR LICENSURE REQUIRED FOR THIS JOB
Dental Assistant Certification is preferred (e.g. DANB - Dental Assisting National Board)
