Pediatric Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare services to patients.

Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices

- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills

- Proficiency in medical terminology

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

- Ability to perform aseptic techniques effectively

- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures

- Experience in dental assisting, including the use of Eaglesoft software

- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices

- Understanding of anatomy for dental procedures

- Familiarity with 3D scanning technology

- Competence in medical documentation practices
