Immediate Opening | Charlotte Area | No Weekends
Lume Pediatric Dentistry is actively seeking a Dental Assistant II (DA II) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our growing pediatric dental team.

What You Will Do
Assist doctors chairside during pediatric dental procedures
Take dental radiographs in accordance with North Carolina regulations
Monitor nitrous oxide administration
Perform coronal polishing as permitted by certification
Educate patients and parents on oral health and treatment recommendations
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Prepare and maintain operatories to support efficient patient flow
Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
Work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, and administrative team members to create an exceptional patient experience
What We Are Looking For
Current North Carolina Dental Assistant II (DA II) certification or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential
North Carolina Radiography Certification (Required)
Nitrous Oxide Monitoring and Coronal Polishing certifications preferred, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
Pediatric dental experience preferred
We are willing to train the right DA II or CDA who is passionate about working with children
Strong communication skills with both children and parents
Dependable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
