Experienced Dental Assistant — Join a Practice That Leads, Not Follows
Full-Time 4 Days/Week
Is This You?
You show up every day ready to make a real difference. You love working with kids, you take pride in your craft, and you don’t settle for “good enough.” You’re the person your team leans on—because you lead by example, bring the energy, and execute with excellence. If that sounds like you, read on.
Who We Are
Central Washington Pediatric Dentistry isn’t just a pediatric dental practice—it’s a movement toward redefining what pediatric dentistry can be. Founded by a husband-wife team with deep roots in central Washington, we operate two thriving locations and have built our reputation on one powerful promise: every child leaves our office healthier, happier, and actually excited to come back.
We are a prevention-first practice. We use cutting-edge technology—including the Solea laser, Pearl AI radiography, Bioclear, Synapse Dental Pain Eraser and Curodont—because we believe our patients deserve the absolute best.
Our Culture: B.U.B.B.L.E.S.
Our team is guided by B.U.B.B.L.E.S.:
B - Bring the Energy
Show up positive, ready, and engaged. We lift each other up—always.
U - Unwavering Integrity
Do the right thing—every time. Honest. Accountable. No excuses.
B - Better Together
Be a team player. We help without being asked.
B - Be All In for Patients
Create a WOW experience every visit. Every child. Every time.
L - Level Up
Always learning, always improving. We grow or we fall behind.
E - Execute with Excellence
Do it right the first time. Details matter. No shortcuts.
S - Serve with Heart
Care deeply about kids and families. Kindness leads everything we do.
The Role
As a key member of our clinical team, you’ll be the right hand to our providers—ensuring every procedure runs smoothly, every patient feels at ease, and every parent leaves impressed. This is not a passive role. We’re looking for a leader in scrubs who takes ownership of clinical excellence and patient experience.
What You’ll Do:
Assist Dr. Neal and Dr. Amy with a full range of pediatric dental procedures using the latest technology (Solea laser, Pearl AI, Bioclear, Curodont)
Deliver a genuinely WOW patient experience—especially for anxious kiddos and first-time visitors
Educate patients and families on prevention, oral hygiene, and home care in a way that’s warm, clear, and empowering
Maintain pristine operatory setup, infection control, and sterilization standards—zero exceptions
Collaborate seamlessly with front office and clinical team to keep the day running efficiently
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement—share ideas, flag issues, help us get better
What We’re Looking For (Must-Haves):
Current Washington State Dental Assistant active registration
Minimum 1+ years of dental assisting experience—pediatric experience is a significant plus
Strong four-handed dentistry skills and the ability to anticipate what’s needed before being asked
Exceptional communication with children—calm, playful, patient, and genuinely kid-loving
A growth mindset: you welcome feedback and want to be the best version of yourself professionally
Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude—every single day
Nice-to-Haves:
Bilingual English/Spanish fluency (preferred—our community is proudly diverse)
Experience with laser dentistry, frenectomies, or minimally invasive techniques
Familiarity with Curve Hero dental software
