Kids Dental Corner Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a friendly, dependable, and experienced Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team.

We are an established pediatric dental practice in Burbank focused on creating a positive and comfortable experience for children and their families. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with kids, works well in a team, and takes pride in providing excellent patient care.

Position Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for scheduled procedures
Take dental X-rays as permitted
Provide chairside assistance for restorative treatment, crowns, extractions, space maintainers, and other pediatric procedures
Help patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their appointments
Follow infection control, sterilization, and OSHA protocols
Maintain clean and organized operatories
Assist with charting and clinical documentation
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene instructions when appropriate
Work efficiently with the clinical and front-office team to keep the schedule running smoothly
Qualifications
Previous dental assisting experience preferred
Pediatric dental experience strongly preferred
DA or RDA credentials preferred, depending on experience
Current CPR/BLS certification
Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Comfortable working with young children and parents
Dependable, punctual, positive, and team-oriented
Extra Bonus
Orthodontic experience is a big plus! Candidates with experience assisting with orthodontic procedures, taking orthodontic records, impressions or scans, placing and removing wires or elastics as permitted, or working in a pediatric/orthodontic office are especially encouraged to apply.
