Job Description
Responsibilities
‣Assist dentist by handling supplies and instruments as requested
‣Set-up and clean-up materials and equipment needed for dental procedures including sterilization
‣Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials
‣Take diagnostic radiographs
‣Perform child prophylaxis and fluoride treatment, dental sealants, monitor nitrous oxide analgesic
‣Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist
‣Perform other duties within the scope of the position as assigned by the doctor
Qualifications
‣High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
‣Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or a Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF)
‣Current CPR certification preferred
‣Radiology certification required
‣Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
‣Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines
‣Possess a professional and positive attitude
‣Good with children
‣Experience with pediatric dentistry a plus
Pay: $18.00 - $29.00 per hour
