Sandpiper Pediatric Dentistry | Topsfield, MA
Sandpiper Pediatric Dentistry is a new pediatric practice in Topsfield, MA founded by a husband-and-wife dentist team who believe great dental care starts with trust, compassion, and making kids feel safe. We’re building a fun, welcoming office where children are treated with patience and encouragement, families feel genuinely cared for, and relationships matter more than quotas. Our goal is simple: excellent dentistry delivered with warmth, personality, and a team that truly loves working with kiddos.
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Dental Assistant to join us as we build the practice from the ground up. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to help shape a positive office culture from day one and grow alongside a new practice.
The Ideal Applicant:
Loves working with children and has a warm, upbeat personality
Helps nervous patients feel comfortable and confident
Organized, dependable, and adaptable
Interested in growing professionally and taking on future leadership opportunities
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting chairside during pediatric dental procedures
Coronal polishing
Taking dental radiographs
Preparing and sterilizing treatment rooms and instruments
Helping children feel safe, comfortable, and encouraged
Educating children and parents on oral hygiene
Maintaining OSHA and infection control standards
Supporting the flow of the office and helping wherever needed
Qualifications:
Dental assisting experience preferred, but attitude and personality matter just as much
Completion of dental assisting certification requirements
Current MA radiology certification (or willingness to obtain)
Current BLS/CPR certification
Pediatric experience is a plus, but not required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
