Job Description

About Won & Co.

Won & Co. (Won Strategy & Management, Inc.) is a healthcare management company that oversees the operations, management, and continued development of a network of premium specialty healthcare practices.

Our teams work across the practices we manage to maintain a consistent standard of clinical care, patient experience, and operational excellence.

We are currently seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our centralized clinical team supporting the following Won & Co.-managed practices:
Bear Brook Pediatric Dentistry
New Jersey Tongue Tie Center
Bear Brook Orthodontics
About the Role
This is a full-time, career-track clinical position designed for individuals who are interested in developing a long-term professional career in dental assisting.

Prior dental assisting experience is welcomed but not required. We provide fully paid, structured hands-on clinical training designed to help team members develop the clinical skills and competencies required for the position.

As team members progress and successfully meet established training and performance benchmarks, the organization also provides support toward obtaining applicable professional credentials, including New Jersey dental radiology/X-ray licensure.

This position is intended for individuals who want to become highly skilled clinical professionals, take on increasing responsibility, and continue growing within the organization over time.

Because of the significant training and professional development invested in this role, this position may not be the right fit for candidates primarily seeking short-term clinical exposure, temporary employment, or a transitional role before pursuing another career path. We are looking for individuals who are genuinely interested in building and advancing a long-term career in dental assisting.

Your Work Environment
This position is primarily based in our clinical settings in Hoboken, New Jersey, where you will work directly alongside pediatric dentists, orthodontic providers, and other members of our clinical team.

Our practices are committed to providing exceptional patient care and creating positive experiences for children and families. Our pediatric dental practice has been recognized as one of the leading pediatric dental practices in the Hoboken community, reflecting the high standards of care our team works together to maintain.

Just as importantly, we value a collaborative and supportive team environment. Our providers and clinical team members work closely together, support one another throughout the day, and take pride in delivering the best possible care to our patients.

Depending on operational needs, team members may also work across Won & Co.-managed practices to support patient care and clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide chairside assistance during pediatric dental, orthodontic, and other specialty procedures
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and clinical equipment
Perform sterilization and infection-control procedures in accordance with established protocols
Support efficient patient flow and clinical operations throughout the day
Communicate professionally and compassionately with children, parents, and caregivers
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support radiographic procedures within the scope of applicable training and licensure
Monitor and maintain clinical supplies and equipment
Work collaboratively with providers and clinical team members to deliver high-quality patient care
Schedule
This is a full-time, 5-day-per-week position, with scheduling occurring Monday through Saturday.

Weekdays: Typically 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with a 45-minute unpaid lunch break
Saturdays: Typically 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Availability for at least two Saturdays per month is required
When scheduled on a Saturday, one weekday will be provided as a day off
Candidates should be able to maintain a reliable and consistent full-time schedule
Compensation & Professional Development
$23–$27 per hour
Starting compensation is determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, licensure, and demonstrated clinical competency.

We provide:
Fully paid, structured clinical training
Support toward obtaining New Jersey dental radiology/X-ray licensure for eligible team members
Continued professional development and increasing clinical responsibility
Opportunities for compensation growth and advancement based on performance and skill development
Career Growth
Strong team members may have opportunities to advance into roles such as:
Junior Clinical Assistant → Senior Clinical Assistant → Lead Clinical Assistant
Advancement is based on clinical competency, reliability, performance, leadership ability, applicable licensure, and organizational needs.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior dental experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail and organization
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
Ability to learn, receive feedback, and develop new skills

What We Are Looking For
We are particularly interested in individuals who:
View dental assisting as a long-term professional career
Are motivated to develop strong clinical skills and become highly proficient in their role
Demonstrate accountability, consistency, and a strong work ethic
Are eager to take on increasing responsibility as they grow
Are interested in obtaining additional clinical credentials and advancing into senior or leadership roles over time
