Full-Time | Salaried, Exempt | Monday–Friday Work Schedule

About the Role

Oral Health Partnership (OHP) is seeking an experienced Pediatric Dental Director to provide clinical leadership while providing direct pediatric dental care. This is an opportunity to combine clinical expertise, provider mentorship, quality improvement, and strategic leadership in a mission-driven nonprofit focused on improving children’s oral health.

This Director partners with executive and clinical leadership to ensure high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care across clinic, hospital, and school-based programs.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct pediatric dental care in clinic and hospital.

Provide clinical leadership, consultation, and mentorship to dentists.

Oversee and support clinical standards, policies, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.

Conduct chart audits, clinical observations, and operating room oversight.

Promote compliance with AAPD, CODA, OSHA, HIPAA, and applicable regulations.

Support ER preparedness and clinical risk management.

Lead provider recruitment, onboarding, development, evaluation, and retention.

Partner with clinical and operational leaders to ensure teams are effectively supporting providers and patient care.

Collaborate on staffing, scheduling, budgeting, access to care, program growth, and strategic planning.

Advise on clinical equipment, facilities, and program development.

Support complex patient/family concerns and promote compassionate service.

Represent dental services with staff, leadership, Board committees, and community partners.

Support grant-related efforts.

Requirements:

Qualifications
DDS or DMD from an accredited U.S. dental school and completion of an accredited pediatric dental residency.

Board certification in Pediatric Dentistry preferred; board-eligible candidates considered.

Active WI dental license or ability to obtain.

Minimum 5 years of experience treating children.

Prior leadership or supervisory experience.

Active DEA license and BLS and/or PALS certification.

Nitrous oxide training and ability to obtain hospital privileges.

Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Commitment to health equity and serving underserved children and families.

Spanish or Hmong bilingual skills preferred, not required.
