Job Description
Dentistry for Children is looking for a fun, energetic front desk associate with a team-player attitude and a strong work ethic to join our team!
Applicants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should have excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Responsibilities
Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.
Communicating with medical insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments.
Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing.
Skills
High school diploma or GED
Good computer skills; prefer experience with Dentrix dental software
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma
Good telephone etiquette.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
