Overview
We are looking for someone to join our practice FULL TIME as of NOVEMBER 2026 and to start ONE SATURDAY A MONTH and PART TIME DURING THE WEEK as of SEPTEMBER 2026.
LISTED COMPENSATION IS A START RANGE: COMPENSATION IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND IS NEGOTIABLE TO HIGHER RATES.

Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments for pediatric patients
Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical history reviews, and evaluating oral health status
Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and comfort
Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
Maintain accurate medical records, document treatment notes, and review documentation for accuracy in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Operate dental imaging equipment to capture necessary radiographs while ensuring infection control protocols are followed
Support infection control procedures by adhering to aseptic techniques and sterilization standards to ensure a safe environment for all patients
Requirements
Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist with specialized training or experience in pediatric dentistry
Proficiency in dental office software Curve Dental, charting and record management
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding practices
Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and documentation review processes
Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining excellent patient rapport
Familiarity with infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures in a dental setting
Prior experience working in dental clinics or pediatric practices is highly preferred
Excellent communication skills to educate young patients and collaborate with team members effectively
