About the Role
Cottage Dental is seeking a a friendly, patient-focused Pediatric Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a hygienist who enjoys working with children and families while creating a positive, educational, and supportive patient experience.
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, energetic, team-oriented, and comfortable helping children feel safe and confident during their dental visits.
Responsibilities
Perform pediatric prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, sealants, and periodontal maintenance as appropriate
Take diagnostic radiographs
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventative care
Help create a calm and positive experience for pediatric patients
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting
Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
Collaborate with doctors and team members to support efficient patient flow
Requirements
Active Registered Dental Hygienist license
Strong communication and patient education skills
Comfortable working with children and families
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Experience in pediatric dentistry preferred
Laser certification preferred, but not required
