We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric dentistry, with a passion for working with children and ensuring their oral health needs are met through comprehensive, gentle care. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive dental care tailored specifically to pediatric patients, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
Perform dental procedures such as dental cleanings, restorations, extractions, and pulp therapy with precision and care.
Utilize advanced dental technology and imaging tools to accurately assess patient conditions and develop effective treatment strategies.
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Educate young patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options using clear, age-appropriate communication.
Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to coordinate patient care, including orthodontics, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery when necessary.
Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry by participating in continuing education and training programs.
Experience
Proven experience in pediatric dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting is required.
Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
Demonstrated expertise in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis related to pediatric patients.
Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental implants, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures preferred.
Familiarity with infection control standards, medical imaging technology, anatomy knowledge relevant to pediatrics, and medical documentation practices.
Ability to communicate effectively with children and their families while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
