South Georgia Smiles is a growing pediatric dental practice proudly serving Albany, Georgia, and the surrounding communities. We are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate dental care to children and families while creating an exceptional patient experience. Our practice is dedicated to improving access to quality dental care by serving our community through both traditional weekday office hours and expanded weekend availability to better meet the needs of our patients and their families.

We’re seeking compassionate, collaborative dentists who are passionate about making a meaningful impact on patients’ lives through improved oral health.
At South Georgia Smiles, you'll have full clinical autonomy and the opportunity to earn a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package. You'll work with cutting-edge dental technology in a modern, digitally equipped office.
Work Schedule Options:
Full-Time: Four or five days per week with Saturday available
Part-Time: up to three days per week with Saturday available
Clinic Hours of Operation: M-F, 9 am – 5 pm; Saturday 9 am – 1 pm
Location & Compensation:
Location: Albany, GA
Salary: starting at $260,000 annually or $1,000/day (depending on experience level) with bonus potential
Patient Base:
Primarily pediatric care
70% Medicaid, with additional payors

Candidate Requirements:
Licensure: DDS or DMD, eligible for or currently holding a Georgia dental license
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Clinical Standards: Commitment to high-quality care and evidence-based procedures; must enjoy working with children
Experience: minimum of five years as a practicing dentist
Responsibilities:
Perform pediatric dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning with precision and care.
Deliver dental procedures including cleanings, restorations, and extractions tailored for children.
Utilize techniques such as four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
Manage medical documentation accurately, including medical records, treatment notes, and dental imaging in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for all patients.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient assessment and delivery of comprehensive pediatric dental care.
Skills:
Proficiency in pediatric dentistry with strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy relevant to children.
Experience with dental office management software such as Denticon or Epic is highly desirable.
Ability to interpret medical imaging and apply infection control standards effectively.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment for children and their families.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance to safeguard patient information at all times.
