We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Dentist to join our dynamic dental team specifically on Saturdays. Responsibilities
Perform pediatric dental examinations, assessments, and diagnoses using advanced dental terminology and medical imaging techniques.
Deliver a wide range of treatments including dental cleanings, restorations, pulp therapies, dental extractions, and oral surgery procedures with aseptic technique.
Utilize four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate endodontics, prosthodontics, root canal therapy, and other specialized pediatric procedures.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
Educate patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term oral health.
Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and safety standards to ensure a sterile environment for all procedures.
Experience
Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office setting with pediatric patients preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency with Opendental software for managing patient records and medical documentation.
Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles, including anatomy knowledge relevant to children’s oral structures.
Familiarity with general dentistry procedures alongside specialized skills in oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and infection control practices.
Ability to communicate effectively using clear dental terminology while maintaining a compassionate approach toward young patients and their families.
