Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities
Perform pediatric dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans using advanced dental terminology and medical imaging techniques.
Deliver a wide range of dental services including dental cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery tailored for children.
Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix to document patient assessments, medical records, and treatment progress accurately while adhering to HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate treatment options clearly and effectively, fostering trust and understanding.
Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate interventions while considering medical terminology and anatomy knowledge specific to pediatric patients.
Assist in dental fabrication procedures such as crowns or prostheses when necessary, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice dentistry with specialization or certification in Pediatric Dentistry.
Proven experience in general dentistry with a focus on pediatrics; previous dental clinic or office experience is highly preferred.
Proficiency with dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for managing patient data efficiently.
Strong knowledge of medical documentation standards, infection control practices, and HIPAA compliance.
Ability to perform dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants when required.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures in an understandable manner for young patients and their families.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and anatomy relevant to pediatric dentistry.
