Job Description
Seeking a mission-driven Pediatric Dentist to join our team in Philadelphia

Greater Philadelphia Health Action (GPHA), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) committed to providing compassionate and affordable healthcare services, is seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Pediatric Dentist who is passionate about working with children and families in a public health setting.

We are looking for a Full time Pediatric Dentist to examine, diagnose, and treat dental conditions in infants, children, and adolescents, including patients with special healthcare needs. You will create a positive, comfortable environment for young patients while delivering high-quality dental care.
Responsibilities include:
Perform oral examinations and assess dental development in children
Diagnose conditions using X-rays and other diagnostic tools
Provide preventive care including cleaning, fluoride treatments, and sealants
Treat dental issues such as cavities, infections, and injuries
Perform procedures including fillings, extractions, space maintainers, and pediatric crowns
Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
Prescribe medications when necessary
Maintain and update electronic health records accurately
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support overall child wellness
