Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care for:
Infants
Children
Adolescents
Patients with special healthcare needs
Clinical responsibilities include:
Comprehensive examinations and diagnosis
Preventive care
Restorative dentistry
Cleanings
Fillings
Stainless steel crowns
Pulp therapy
Extractions
Develop individualized treatment plans
Educate patients and caregivers on oral hygiene and preventive care
Utilize age-appropriate pediatric behavior management techniques
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to provide exceptional patient care
Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and all applicable regulatory standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community outreach opportunities
Qualifications
DDS or DMD from an ADA-accredited dental school
Completion of an ADA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry
Active Oregon dental license (or ability to obtain)
Active Oregon Nitrous Oxide Permit
Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based pediatric care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for serving children and families in a community-focused environment
