Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options in an engaging manner.
Collaborate with dental assistants and staff to ensure efficient workflow using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain detailed medical records, dental documentation, and adhere to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare policies.
Requirements
Valid license to practice dentistry with specialized certification in pediatric dentistry.
Proven experience in pediatric dentistry, including knowledge of oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry procedures.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, and healthcare diagnosis processes.
Ability to perform dental extractions safely and efficiently while demonstrating excellent patient care skills.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance with all applicable state healthcare regulations.
