Job Description
A vibrant, high-volume practice in Smyrna is seeking a General Dentist who thrives on working with children to support an immediate, ongoing need. The opportunity is available for a traditional locum tenens arrangement or a direct locum-to-permanent transition.
An exceptional support structure manages the fast-paced flow, featuring three dental hygienists operating in a dedicated six-operatory hygiene building, alongside five assistants and four front desk team members managing a separate eight-operatory doctor facility next door.
The Role:
Location: Smyrna, DE 19977
Schedule: Monday through Friday (No weekends)
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Thursday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Patient Volume: Dynamic daily pacing of 45–65 pediatric patients per day across a dual-building campus.
Clinical Scope: Restorative care, fillings, crowns, and extractions for a 100% pediatric patient mix. Operatories comfortably accommodate left or right-handed dentists, and the provider will step next door to perform routine hygiene checks.
Tech Stack: EagleSoft charting software integrated with advanced AI Diagnostic Tools.
Preferred Skills: Exceptional efficiency in pediatric behavior management and high-volume restorative care.
Compensation: Competitive pay rate + comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage. Travel and lodging accommodations are provided if personal production aligns with the daily production of a $5,000 baseline.
License Reimbursement: Reimbursement is available for obtaining a Delaware dental license.
What is Needed:
Credentials: Active Delaware License, DEA, and current BLS certification.
Onboarding: Immediate start with fast-track onboarding available per the client.
