Key Responsibilities:
Assist the pediatric dentist during examinations and procedures
Provide chairside support, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for patients
Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Take and develop X-rays as required
Maintain a clean, organized, and sterilized environment
Accurately document patient information and treatment plans
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Completion of an accredited dental assisting course
Active licensure in Minnesota, DANB certification, or equivalent state jurisprudence for performing specified tasks
Current CPR (BLS) certification
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
Passion for working with children and ensuring a positive dental experience
Minnesota Dental Radiology Certificate course to complete X-rays
