We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who enjoys working with children and thrives in a collaborative team setting.
Position Summary
As a Pediatric Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our young patients receive high-quality dental care while helping them feel safe, comfortable, and excited about their dental visits. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer service to both patients and their families.
Responsibilities
Assist the doctor during a variety of pediatric dental procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols.
Take and process digital radiographs.
Provide chairside support during restorative procedures, extractions, sealants, and preventive services.
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, post-operative instructions, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and update patient records.
Ensure treatment rooms are stocked, organized, and ready for patient care.
Build positive relationships with patients and their families to create a welcoming environment.
Support team members and contribute to an efficient clinical workflow.
QualificationsRequired:
Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Passion for working with children and providing exceptional patient care
Expanded functions of Sealant, Polishing, Nitrous
Preferred:
Previous pediatric dental experience
Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Surgery Center Experience
