Job Summary
Conway Pediatric Dental Group is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Full-Time Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! If you love working with children, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and want to be part of an office that truly feels like family, we would love to meet you.

Pediatric dental experience is a huge plus, but it is not required. We are happy to welcome a driven new graduate who is eager to learn, grow, and become part of our long-standing team.

Duties
Provide gentle, thorough dental cleanings and preventive care for infants, children, adolescents, and special needs patients
Take digital X-rays and assist in diagnosing dental conditions under the direction of the dentist
Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene, brushing, flossing, nutrition, and cavity prevention
Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive services as needed
Help create a positive, fun, and anxiety-free experience for children during their dental visits
Accurately document clinical notes, treatment recommendations, and patient information in electronic dental records
Monitor patient comfort and behavior while using child-friendly communication techniques
Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols according to OSHA and HIPAA standards
Assist dentists during exams and communicate treatment needs with parents and team members
Work efficiently in a fast-paced pediatric environment while maintaining excellent patient care and attention to detail
Collaborate closely with doctors, assistants, and front office staff to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional patient experiences
Support the overall mission of creating healthy smiles and positive dental experiences for every child
Experience
Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist
Prior experience working in a pediatric dentistry setting or general dentistry with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
Proficiency in dental terminology, anatomy knowledge related to the oral cavity, and infection control practices.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation and record keeping. Experience with Open Dental is a huge plus!
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology relevant to dental care.
