Who are we looking for?
We seek an experienced, mature, enthusiastic, full-time dental surgical assistant, specifically with periodontal and implant experience.
Must have excellent people skills, demonstrating effective interpersonal communication and facilitation skills that apply to all levels of the practice.
Must be compassionate toward patients and have leadership skills, with the ability to motivate patients and other team members. Must be very proficient with computers and have experience with MS Word, Excel, and email, among others.
Other skills include excellent patient bedside manners, being a self-starter, being able to multi-task, being enthusiastic, responsible, and oriented, and having excellent communication skills toward patients and others.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicant must have a WA State Department of Health dental assistant license.
- Applicants must have a valid and unexpired certificate of completion of BLS.
- A minimum of 2 years of steady employment is preferable.

Compensation is based on experience and performance.
Pay: $21.00 - $33.00 per hour

Sound Surgical Arts is a Surgical Specialty Dental Office in all aspects of surgery of the mouth, neck and adjacent areas. Owned by a tow leaders in their specialties, an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Periodontics, Drs. Manuel & Silvia La Rosa together work with local dental and medical community specializing on the diagnosis and treatment of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontics, dental implants, pathology, and facial aesthetics, as well as all aspects of surgical dentistry and anesthesia. Our combined staff is trained in assisting wit intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. We work together as a Team to improve the lives of our patients by restoring optimal dental health in a compassionate, comfortable and informative environment with state of the art clinical care and cutting edge technology.
