What You'll Be Responsible For
As a Specialty Dental Assistant, you'll help ensure every procedure runs smoothly while delivering a positive patient experience.
Key Duties
Assist doctors during periodontal, implant, and specialty procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and surgical materials.
Monitor inventory and ensure supplies are organized and readily available.
Maintain sterilization and infection prevention protocols.
Take diagnostic radiographs and support clinical documentation.
Educate patients on post-operative instructions and treatment expectations.
Help patients feel comfortable throughout their visits by providing attentive and compassionate support.
Coordinate efficiently with doctors and team members to maintain a productive schedule.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is clinically confident, team-oriented, and eager to continue learning.
Requirements
Current Dental Assistant certification.
Active X-Ray certification.
At least one year of specialty dental assisting experience preferred.
Experience supporting a periodontist, oral surgeon, orthodontist, or other specialist is highly valued.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care.
Ability to thrive in a busy clinical setting.
Preferred
Periodontal assisting experience.
Experience with implant procedures and advanced restorative treatment.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour based on experience.
