Compensation
$21.00–$28.00 per hour
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule
Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM

About the Role
As a Surgical Dental Assistant, you'll play an essential role in delivering outstanding patient care before, during, and after periodontal procedures. You'll work side-by-side with our periodontists and an experienced clinical team to create an exceptional experience for every patient.

This position reports directly to the Lead Dental Assistant and our periodontists.

What You'll Do
Prepare patient charts and review medical histories before appointments
Set up treatment rooms and surgical instruments
Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols
Take diagnostic radiographs
Assist chairside during periodontal surgeries and implant procedures
Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education
Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies
Ensure a smooth, efficient clinical workflow
Deliver compassionate, professional care while helping patients feel comfortable and informed
Perform other clinical duties as needed

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience
Certified Dental Assistant I (CDA I) required
Dental X-Ray Certification required
Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Experience preparing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Comfortable using computers; Denticon experience is a plus
