Periodontic Surgical Assistant

Our periodontal practice is looking for a motivated and compassionate Surgical Assistant to join our team. Experience in general dentistry, periodontics or oral surgery is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Assist doctor with chairside periodontal and surgical procedures
· Taking digital X-rays and CBCT scans
· Taking digital impressions along with alginate impressions when needed
· Educate patients about procedures and post operative instructions
· Break down and set up of operatories
· Prepare and sterilize instruments
· Support hygiene team as needed
· Support smooth daily clinical operations
Qualifications
· Dental assisting, periodontic or oral surgery experience preferred but willing to train the right person
· X-ray certification (or obtained within 6 months of employment)
· CPR/BLS certification preferred
· Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
